Alenka and Bryan

Another awesome couple, another great location ...and another rainy Saturday!
Unfortunately we saw rain on the day of Alenka and Bryan's wedding,
the ceremony had to be moved indoors but the sun did manage to come out
for a few minutes for us to get a few photos outside.
I love photographing at new locations and this was one of them!
The wedding was held at Bluewater Shores and a what a beautiful spot it is!

I thought it was fitting to give this ring photo an 'old fashioned' look to it after Alenka explained some history about it to me! I think it is the most gorgeous ring I have ever seen, absolutely beautiful!! You can see it again a few images down.

I do have to say, there is a benefit in having rainy wedding days
in that you get some of the greatest looking skies!

Alenka was so much fun to work with and I can't wait to work with her again soon! She is my first bride to choose to do a "trash the dress" session!! And what's even better is that she is going to take her horse out for the dress shoot, which I have to admit, a bride with her horse happens to be sortof a dream photoshoot for me, so needless to say I am more than excited for that! There will definitely be a blog post after that shoot so keep an eye out! We may wait until there's a bit of snow on the ground too which would just top it all off for me because, call me crazy, but I Love snow!

I decided to include this photo on the blog post, not only because I love it,
but also I thought it was cool that Alenka and Bryan chose to have
their wedding day the same day as their sons first birthday!

Congratulations Alenka and Bryan! It was an absolute pleasure capturing your special day :)
I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Nicole and Casey!!

Nicole and I have been friends since college and I had the absolute privilege of capturing her and Casey's wedding a few weekends ago! We had rain the day we did their engagement photos so we were really hoping for some great weather for the day of their outdoor wedding, but unfortunately we did see lots of rain again, but it was an awesome day none the less! I was so impressed with how calm Nicole was about it all, not letting it upset her on her day one bit!!
Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Their daughter Madison made the perfect little flower girl! She looked absolutely adorable and she impressed us all with how well she did all day!

Unfortunately due to rain we weren't able to get the outdoor photos we were hoping for, but we did get a few and this one turned out to be a favorite of mine.

Madison was non stop all night! She started dancing the minute she walked in until she fell asleep near the end of the night. And what a great little dancer she is!

This is one of my absolute favorites! First of all Nicole and Casey had a choreographed first dance, which I love the idea of and they did a fantastic job with! But mostly I think my favorite about this one is Madison watching them! I think it makes the photo more meaningful, love it :)

In the time leading up to the wedding, Nicole gave me ideas of specific photos she wanted to have captured, this was one of them! I'm so glad that Madison did end up crashing near the end of the night so we were able to get this shot for her :) So sweet.

I just have to say, Nicole and Casey and their family and friends sure now how to have a good time! I had a blast capturing them all night on the dance floor! What a great night!

Thanks so much for having me be a part of your special day guys!! I am so happy for you and wish you all the best for years to come!! :)

Jamie and Gracie, Married!

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding last weekend for a great couple I know. Jamie and Gracie had been together for 15 years already and have a beautiful daughter. Finally their big day had arrived! We were hoping for nice weather for an outdoor ceremony at a gorgeous property, however the ceremony did get moved indoors due to rain. The rain quit in time for Gracie to have her photos outdoors though, which was her main concern! It was a beautiful wedding for a fantastic couple, Gracie looked gorgeous and we had the perfect place for photos thanks to Brian and Jaqua and their amazing home!

Many thanks to you Jamie and Gracie for letting me share in your special day!! I wish you all the best and many more happy years together!!
