When Melissa contacted me about doing some Equine Photos for her, I was immediately excited! We decided we would make it a 4 season project! So last weekend, before all this snow that we got this week, I had the pleasure of working with Melissa to do our Winter Photoshoot. Brant County where we did the photos at didn't really have snow, not as much as I had hoped for anyways, and it wasn't snowing at the time of our shoot which would have been neat, but we did manage to get some great shots! And we both had so much fun meeting all the horses at Simone's.
I want to Thank Simone from Vintage Lane Farm for the use of her BEAUTIFUL farm and horses, as well as the owners of all the great horses that we were able to photograph!! We were able to photograph here for our Summer Session as well and I just love this place!
Melissa is a Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning (FEEL) Instructor and you can learn more about what she does and see more photos from our other shoots at her website: http://www.tailsofwisdom.com/
I used to have a horse that had a forelock like this Halflinger below, Love it :)
I loved both of these two in the below photo a lot! The miniature is absolutely adorable!! and apparently plays with the halflinger a lot too... see next photo!
I think my favorite from the day is right here:
I just have to say about the photo below, I LOVE the color of the horse on the left. All of the horses are so beautiful, but the colour of this horse is one that I have not seen before, and although you can't see all of the horse or the mane here, this horse's colour is stunning!
THANK YOU Melissa and Simone for the awesome day!!
